Live Outside The Camp Christian Posters |
Thank
you for visit our site and taking time to browse around and look at our
Christian posters. We
hope
you are encouraged by what you see; we would love to hear comments from
you (positive or constructive)- email us at info@liveoutsidethecamp.com.
Our
name comes from Hebrews
13:13, "Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace
he bore." The writer is encouraging us to leave our
"precious" zone of
comfort and go to where the action is. It's not "in the
camp." It's
outside - where no one wants to be - but where Jesus went.
Our lives
should consist of working towards living outside the camp, not simply
living for another paycheck, a bigger house, a bigger car, a nicer
retirement, but engaging into the battle that we surely find ourselves
in. The spiritual war surrounds us daily, but most Christians
find it
easier to ignore.
The
purpose of Live Outside the Camp is
clear: motivate and encourage Christians, through the visual
arts, to move towards the
calling
of Christ and out of the comfort of our recliners. Our intent
is that
the Christian posters you find on this site help you see God in a new
way and
motivate you to move towards Him. We would love to see a
change in
the hearts of Christians and non-Christians by looking upon the truth
contained in our posters - we hope you feel the same.
Christ
moved towards need,
purpose, and mission. He did not move towards comfort and
familiarity
when he left the city gates on the Calvary road. Our calling
is the
same. |
