The purpose of Live Outside the Camp is clear:  motivate and encourage Christians, through the viewing our posters,  to move towards the calling of Christ and out of the comfort of our recliners.  Our intent is that the Christian posters you find on this site help you see God in a new way and motivate you to move towards Him.  We would love to see a change in the hearts of Christians and non-Christians by looking upon the truth contained in our posters - we hope you feel the same.

Where is our Heart??

Where is our heart??
Posters, and photography in general, can resonate with people as they connect with the message of the image. Why not insert a motivational, inspirational message that might take you, as a Christian, to ideas that you haven't thought of.  Each poster has been carefully thought out from a Christian's perspective, not beucase these are contrived messages, but because that's where I live.

Day in and day out, I think of moving closer into the real fight we face - hence the imagery of grabbing the sword in the Courage poster. Moving away from what we would normally consider church so that we can move closer to what we should consider Church.   Or, as in the Movement poster,  the idea moving directly underneath the  movement of a waterfall - powerful, helpless, consuming.  Even as I put together the posters and this site, I was consumed by the shear creativity of our Creator - and that is reflected in the Creativity poster.

I would hope that Christians who view the posters are motivated and encouraged.   That is our purpose and mission.
